Keith Abbott joined Charles R. Weber in June of 1999 as a broker and currently serves on CRW’s board of Directors since 2006. Prior to joining Weber, Keith worked as a broker for Poten and Partners in New York City from 1991. Born and raised in the U.S. East Coast, Keith graduated from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Fla. in 1986 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management with a concentration in Finance.

Patrick joins Charles Weber after 19 years at United Product Tankers Americas, where he helped establish and oversee the company’s US expansion and was in charge of its daily operations and activities related to the America’s markets. Prior to his time at UPT, Patrick spent time as a tanker broker and chartering manager for other shipping companies. Patrick graduated from New York University in 1992 with a BS in International Business and Marketing and from Bernard M Baruch College CUNY in 1997 earning an MBA in International Marketing.

Kevin joined Charles R. Weber in 2001 as a broker. Prior to joining Charles R. Weber, Kevin worked at Islandia Chartering and Maritime Direct. Kevin graduated from SUNY Maritime College in 2000 with an Unlimited Third Mates license.

Jim Enright
Jim joined the Charles R. Weber Company in 2015. Prior to joining Weber, Jim was Managing Director of OSG Lightering in Houston between 2007 and 2014. Prior to his lightering endeavors, Jim worked as a Chartering Manager and Crude Oil/Feedstocks Trader for Fina Oil and Chemical in Dallas. Jim holds a BS in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas and an MBA from Texas Christian University.

Diana joined the Charles R. Weber Company in 2014 in the operations department. She was previously a vessel operator at OSG Ship Management, Inc. and Heidmar, Inc. She commenced her career in the maritime industry as a boarding agent for GAC in New York, where she subsequently served as an assistant operations manager. She graduated from SUNY Maritime College with a BS in Maritime Transportation and Business Administration and an Unlimited Third Mate’s License in 2001.

Larry joined Charles R. Weber in 1988 in the operations department. He has been a broker with the company since 1990 and a director since 2001. Before joining Weber, Larry worked for Gibbs and Cox, a naval architecture firm. He graduated in 1986 from the United States Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point in 1986 with a BS in Nautical Sciences/Marine Transportation and a Third Mate’s License.

John Kulukundis joined Charles R. Weber as a research analyst in 2005. Prior to that John worked as a tanker and projects broker for Charles R. Weber and various European and Far East brokerages. He worked on the chartering desk for ship owners London and Overseas Freighters and was at sea for two years.

Rob joined Charles R. Weber in 2019 as a market and legal analyst. Prior to joining Weber, Rob was a financial products and derivatives attorney for Clifford Chance Rogers & Wells and McDermott Will & Emery. Previously, Rob worked as credit and collections manager and bunker analyst for Trans-Tec Services. Rob holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marine Affairs from the University of Rhode Island and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami School of Law.

Bruce Maronpot joined Charles R Weber in 2021 as an S&P Broker. Prior to joining CR Weber, Bruce worked for Naess Hallman / Alliance Maritime in New York in the 1980’s & 1990’s, and then
Mcquilling Partners in New York and Singapore in the early 2000’s and thereafter SM Shipping Consultants Thailand. Bruce graduated from Yale University.

Mike joined Charles R. Weber in February 2014 as a broker. Prior to joining Charles R. Weber, Mike worked at MJLF & Associates for 6 years as a broker on their larger tanker dpp desk. Prior to that, he worked as a senior analyst in fixed-income commodities trading at both Morgan Stanley and Lehman Brothers in Westchester and New York City. Mike graduated from Fairfield University's Dolan School of Business in 2004 with a BS in Business Marketing.

Daniel joined Charles R. Weber in 1994 in the operations department and became a broker in 1997 after a brief training period at EA Gibson in London. During this time, he helped develop the clean products desk and became a company director in 2008. He currently continues to focus on clean petroleum products and specialized trade. He graduated from Catholic University of America, Washington D.C. in 1993 with a degree in political science.

Haakan Svedin joined Weber in 2016 as a projects broker bringing years of experience from the ship owning, spot chartering, and period business side. Prior to joining Weber, Haakan worked for many prominent publicly traded ship owners such as ICB Shipping, Frontline, OMI Corp., and Teekay. For the past 7 years, Haakan managed the Gemini Tankers Suezmax Pool. Haakan has a degree in finance and accounting from the University of Stockholm.

Per G. Tetzlaff Per joined Weber in October of 2024 as Project/S&P and Business Development Manager. Per has 35 years of shipbroker experience with major US and Norwegian shipbroker firms including Investment banking firm Arctic Securities LLC, USA. He covers a wide range of brokering services for sectors within the Tanker, Dry Bulk, LNG and LPG shipping markets. Per holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Minnesota.

Thomas Winn is part of our Houston team, focusing on Crude and DPP. Thomas is a graduate of Texas A&M and comes to us by way of AET where he spent three years. Prior to that, he worked as an agent at Inchcape, covering calls within the greater Houston ports, and also as broker/operator on a chemical desk.

Before joining Charles R. Weber, Max Yarbrough was Director Ship to Ship Transfers at Excelerate Energy, responsible for worldwide STS operations. He developed and led many firsts in the LNG industry, such as the first commercial LNG STS in Trinidad, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Subic Bay, Philippines, Limassol, Cyprus, and Israel. Additionally, developed and pioneered new devices to improve safety and efficiencies with each LNG STS operation. Before Excelerate, he was Commercial Manager at SPT and El Paso Marine subsidiary of El Paso Corporation. He graduated from Texas A&M University, Galveston, Texas, with a B.S. in Marine Transportation and achieved USCG License Unlimited Tonnage. He has sailing experience on container ships and tankers.
